Kag is 18 miles long and 4 miles wide. At it's deepest it is 180 feet. The lake supports lake trout (largest over caught was 42 lbs.), white fish, record walleye and record northern pike. The beauty of Van Poele is the option to fish even in windy conditions. We have had many pike over 20 lbs. caught and returned to the lake. We have 2 other cabins on Kag and a radio phone is available for emergencies at Kag camp. |
